I'd like to deliver a word about CREATIVITY

CREATIVITY is something I believe we are all born with.  Some just develop it better than others.  I've gotten better with mine.  It's funny, the advice you pull from different sources, but I was watching a youtube video, it was an interview of Nikki Sixx.  He was explaining how he learned to play a guitar.  When you start, you learn from other people's work and then eventually you're able to create some of your own stuff.  People get so sensitive in the creative world- yet there is duplication all around us.  That poor Red Christmas Truck.  How many times has that been duplicated ? Almost Heaven, if you're from WV, that phrase should belong to each and every one of us, but I think it has been recently trademarked or copyrighted by the state- Awesome :(  The trademark department is getting overwhelmed with ridiculousness.  Trademarks are suppose to be reserved for uncommon phrases and things, but people are taking it too far with Mountain Mama, Dog Mom, Baby Bear and Almost Heaven.  I remember a graphic someone made of a -let's call it a snowman in an inner tube sliding down a hill... this wasn't something uncommon. The idea of a snowman in an inner tube wasn't unique.  There was a pause inside me just watching and listening to that whole situation unravel. I learned how sensitive creative types can be.  It's not just a trademark that you have to worry about, but it's local stuff too. With all this creativity going on now its hard to come up with something original.  If you're a creator, I say create ! If it hits you, make it!  How can you ever get great at something if you don't first copy what others have done, ((the snowman creator was already awesome, this person was just having fun creating with no intentions to do anything with the artwork))  like Nikki said, you learn to play the guitar using other people's music.  Everyone's trying to make their own stuff, they just need training wheels for a bit AND you also need to survive $$. You can't tell me that great artists don't study previous artists for their methods,  ideas and how they look at the world.  If every math teacher had to rewrite their own school book, we'd all be in trouble.  Anyway- Eventually you'll come up with your own way, you'll write your own song- in the mean time PLEASE do not let an itty bitty comment paralyze you.  Learn from the creativity of others and keep creating.  If you don't practice and you don't have anything to practice with, you'll never get good at it.  So make it and sell that heck out of it !

I've included some pictures of what could be common items that people have created.  In 2016, I used a laser to cut the WV metal sign. The red heart is a magnet, the home was cut out of vinyl and placed on the painted surface.  The Merry Christmas is a common saying over top of a common nativity and you can't forget about the Red Christmas Truck.

There are tons of ideas out there.  With so much creativity and so many makers, it's hard to hold anyone back. You were born to create, so do it.
