Have fun with this DIY project. Two pieces will come to you in the size you request. Paint the back piece a contrasting color to the front piece OR apply glue and lay down your favorite fabric or scrap booking paper and let it show through the cut out WV on the top piece.
I would suggest using clamps or something heavy to glue the two boards together. You'll want them to marry nicely.
